Argenteuil Asparagus is an attractive French heirloom perennial producing 2cm thick white/green spears with purple tinted tips. Seed forms good strong crowns after 18 months.  This perennial vegetable is fairly easy to grow as a garden vegetable in a variety of climates. Asparagus need two to three years before producing quality spears then will be productive for decades.  Cut spears for continuous supply.

How To Sow

Sow 1-2 seeds in seed raising punnets 8mm deep.
Transplant when 6cm tall and space 40cm apart.
