Sugarloaf Cabbage is a compact, conical headed green variety with excellent flavour cooked or in coleslaw.  Cabbage is a fast growing annual that requires a full sun position with very fertile soil rich in organic matter. Growing a large cabbage plant will result in the biggest possible head harvest. 

 

How To Sow

Sow seeds into pots/punnets using a good quality seed raising mixture 5mm deep. Transplant seedlings to the garden when they are 5cm high, space 40cm apart and mulch thickly around the plant.
