Chamomile is an annual that grows to about 60cm in height, it produces masses of small daisy flowers that are used for Chamomile Tea. Flowers can be used fresh to make tea but it is best to dry them first which also allows for long term storage of the flowers. 

Chamomile plant companions can also benefit from the aphid and mite-eating hoverflies, ladybugs, and other beneficial insects that chamomile attracts; and you will benefit from its mosquito deterring scent.

 

How To Sow

Sow in seed raising pots or direct in garden and cover with 3mm of soil and keep moist. Transplant seedlings when 2cm into good garden soil, space 40cm apart.
