Hollyhock is a old fashioned annual flower to 2 metres. Producing rose coloured flowers on tall spikes. Useful in backdrop gardens. Hollyhock is an excellent cut flower centre piece. Likes well drained fertile soil.

How To Sow

Sow in direct or in seed raising trays and cover with 6mm of soil. Transplant at 5 to 10cm high to garden. Space plants 30cm apart.

In a sun to part shade position in moist conditions with well drained soil.
