Lemon Balm is a vigorous clump forming perennial to 80 cm. Lemon scented leaves can be used in salads, cooking and herbal teas. Grows well in fertile moist soil and leaves will be lusher in a partial shade position. Best sown Autumn and Spring. A hardy herb that offers a range of culinary and medicinal uses. Perfect for growing at home, it's an easy way to get access to fresh and flavorful ingredients.

How To Sow

Fill trays, punnets or jiffy pots with a good quality seed-raising mix, or use soil starter pellets.
Sow seeds 3mm deep.
Keep soil moist but never wet or dry.
Seeds should germinate in around 7-14 days at a soil temperature of 19-21°C.
