Daikon Radish is a Japanese variety producing long, white root up to 50cm long. Radish is easily grown in any good garden soil with at least half days sun. Eat fresh or cooked. When young Radish has a mild flavour and increases its strength as it ages. 

Radish is suitable to penetrate and break up soils, and produces green manure that can be sown back in to improve soil health.

Sow direct 5-10cm apart in rows 30cm wide.
