Spinach is such a wonderful veg to grown in your patch, you can extend its harvest by just cutting off the leaves when you require. Ceylon Spinach is an easily grown vine from tropical Asia and Africa. It grows as a warm season annual in most parts of Australia. In summer, when regular spinach turn bitter, Ceylon Spinach is at its best.

Spinach has so many uses and can be used in salads, soups, stir-fries and steamed.  

Spinach is rich in vitamin A, B and C, mineral salts and iron and will suit a wide range of soils if kept fertile and moist. 

How To Sow

Spinach prefers a free-draining soil enriched with compost in full sun during cooler months and part shade in warmer weather.
Sow two to three seeds, 25cm apart. Also suitable for container planting in pots.
