Spinach is such a wonderful veg to grown in your patch, you can extend its harvest by just cutting off the leaves when you require. English Bloomsdale can also be used as a baby spinach.  

Spinach can be grown all year round in moderate climates but Summer is a little tough in full sun in our Queensland climate.

Spinach has so many uses and can be used in salads, soups, stir-fries and steamed., and is rich in vitamin A, B and C, mineral salts and iron and will suit a wide range of soils if kept fertile and moist. 

English Spinach is the most cold-hardy spinach and will thrive in a winter greenhouse or polytunnel, or outdoors under a layer of mulch.

How To Sow

Sow two to three seeds 1cm deep, 25cm apart. Also suitable for container planting in pots.
