Golden Bantam Corn is a popular variety growing to 2 metres and generally producing two cobs per plant. Golden Bantam Corn has a sweet and tasty flavour and can be used fresh or cooked. The best way to grow Golden Bantam Corn is to sow direct in blocks of three or four rows and cover seed with 3cm of soil, spaced 40cm apart for good pollination. They best like fertile, well drained moist soil in a sunny position. Matures in 110 days.

Sow seed direct into the garden by forming a furrow roughly 2cm deep. Sow a couple of seeds together then cover with 3cm of soil and keep moist until germinated. Thin out plants to the strongest seedling once they germinate. Space seeds 40cm apart and try to grow in blocks of at least 10 plants to improve pollination.
