Black Russian Tomato is a well known heirloom variety with it's dark colour and unique flavour. Fruit are medium sized, sweet and have a black/purple tinge, internal flesh is dark reddish brown colour. A great variety to add interesting colour to salads. Medium cropper.

Tomatoes are easily grown from seed, best sown in punnets and seed raising mix and transplant at 10-15cm tall.

 

How To Sow

Sow direct or in pots. Cover seed with 5mm of soil. If growing in pots, transplant to garden position at 5cm, space 45cm apart.
