Grosse Lisse is an old Australian classic old time favourite heirloom variety full of flavour and juice.  and is a heavy fruiter . It's a climbing variety so will require staking. It also grows very tall and it is best with some pruning of early side-shoots. Try to develop just 2 main leaders. If too many leaders are kept, fruit size will be reduced.


 

How To Sow

Sow in seed raising pots and cover seed with 5mm of soil. Transport seedlings at 6cm into garden position spaced 40cm apart or in large pot.

Where to Sow

Plant in an airy, sunny position in well drained soil or very large pots. Requires a 1.5 to 1.8m stake.
