Colossal Yellow tomato is a low-acid cultivar. Plants can reach up to 60cm tall, yielding abundant quantities of large, 7cm-diameter pale yellow fruits. Its flesh is mild and soft, and the crop can be harvested late in the season. Plants are robust, so take care to tie them to a secure anchor. Fruits are typically medium to large and have a consistent texture that is suitable for sandwiches, salads, or cooking. Occasionally, a red fruit may appear. As is common with heirloom tomatoes, the fruits are delicate and crack easily, so harvest them promptly. Indeterminate growth habit.

How To Sow

Sow direct or in pots. Cover seed with 5mm of soil. If growing in pots, transplant to garden position at 5cm, space 45cm apart.
